Hi, I’m Carrie.
I’m an illustrator working in publishing, stationery, and surface design.
I grew up on a farm in central Missouri, where I spent my childhood picking bouquets of wildflowers, watching thunderstorms roll across the prairie, and drawing so many pictures. I love exploring the lessons we can learn from the beautiful complexity of the natural world, and much of my work is centered around that theme. My favorite projects are those that tell interesting stories, challenge me to grow as an illustrator, but also allow my art-making approach to shine.
When I’m not making art, I’m reading a book, going on long walks, and dreaming about building a cabin in the woods.
